When we first met Colton, he was struggling deeply—battling addiction, homelessness, and the weight of personal challenges. We often reminded Colton that there was a better way and when he was ready we would connect him with a recovery center. One day he reached out and asked for help, and without hesitation, we took him to a treatment center. Though it was difficult, he confronted his past, and graduated from the program. Today, he’s raising his son as a single father, building a new life for them both, free from the chains of addiction.
Theresa found herself pregnant and battling addiction, trapped in a cycle she desperately wanted to break. With the weight of her unborn child’s future on her shoulders, she knew she needed to make a change. We helped Theresa connect with her father in another state. Over the next year, Theresa worked hard to reclaim her life. Today, both Theresa and her daughter are thriving. She completed the recovery program and now lives a healthy, sober life, surrounded by the love and support of her family.
Paul's world was shattered when his son was murdered. The grief was unbearable, and in his despair, Paul turned to drugs in an attempt to numb the overwhelming pain. He lost everything he had left: his job, his home, and the support of those who cared about him. Through the support of Street Reach and with the help of individuals who refused to give up on him, Paul began to rebuild his life and started to heal, not just from the addiction, but from the deep emotional wounds of losing his son. Now, Paul has a steady job, a place to stay, and a renewed sense of purpose.
